Description
Tenant in place renovation of 72 units of elderly housing in the Coppin Heights community of West Baltimore. Work includes the addition of a new leasing office/community center/green space as well as new kitchens, windows and sprinkler system. In addition, the HVAC system will be replaced, bathrooms will be upgraded and floors will be refinished. The site will be modified to allow wheelchair access through exterior grading and interior stair reconfiguration.

Project Highlights
This project will preserve 72 units of much-needed affordable housing and will enhance the quality of life for the residents. Green building products include Energy Star fixtures and windows, low VOC paints, recycled insulation and a high efficiency heating and cooling system. The renovation of St. Stephen's Court Apartments represents one part of a $300+ million investment strategy in the Coppin Heights community.
